How can Paypal earn the trust of small business owners in UK and Germany? This social media and editorial campaign focussed on SMB owners in UK & Germany and focussed on their journey of triumph, failure, and then triumph again. The social content was part of Paypal’s #DoMore campaign and showcased four stories with two British and two German entrepreneurs. They were published on organic and paid channels on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok along with the Paypal editorial and blog.

Vivien of Holloway + PayPal

The story showed how Vivien of Holloway used PayPal to rebuild trust with customers and suppliers. Vivien of Holloway designs and sells modern clothing inspired by the glamour of years gone by. When the brand’s previous factory wasn’t producing designs quickly enough, founder Vivien Wilson needed to find new partners to get her business back on track. PayPal’s cash flow capabilities enabled her to pay them faster and keep her online clothing store stocked.

Cricket-Hockey + PayPal

Cricket-Hockey, small business out of UK that sells cricket and hockey gear for everyone from school pupils up to professional athletes. As one of the UK’s largest equipment retailers, co-owners Jamie Harvey and Christian Pain use PayPal to offer customers their choice of payment options under one easy-to-manage platform.

Kickerkult + PayPal

From world champion to entrepreneur - How Oke Harms successfully sells foosball tables with the help of PayPal. When Oke Harms began playing table football at the age of 20, he had no idea that just a few years later he would be standing in front of a shelf full of trophies in a Berlin showroom. German champion, European champion, Champions League winner, world champion – Harms' CV truly reads like that of a top athlete. He is now channeling the sporting ambition that led him to his table football success into his own e-commerce company, Kickerkult.

Naturschutzcenter + PayPal

The last story showed how a brand went from the school club to the e-commerce world: The history of the online shop Naturschutzcenter.de. To talk about Markus Lohmüller's first commitment to nature and environmental protection, one has to go back a long way. He founded a nature conservation group while still in elementary school, and his father, a biologist, also introduced him to the topics of species conservation and biodiversity at an early age.
